Autism Awareness Day Art Contest

The theme of this year's art contest is "Celebrate Individuality". Participants are to create an original works that define who they are; their interests; or what inspires them.
All school-aged children are encouraged to participate.
Community applicants are welcome to participate.
Only one individual entry per artist will be accepted.
Entries should be labeled with Name, Grade, Full School Name "Patterson Elementary School not PES", and place on the bottom front right corner.
Two-dimensional entries may not exceed 36 inches in height or width.
Artwork must be ready to hang, i.e. flimsy, copier paper should be backed by construction paper, poster board, card stock or the like. Canvas and framed art should have a hook mounted.
No lined notebook paper will be accepted.
Three-dimensional entries must be stable and not exceed 15lbs. Should be freestanding or come with a stand.
Artwork will be on display Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the 9th Annual Autism Awareness Day at the Okefenokee Heritage Center Warehouse.
Submissions due by April 19
All entries must be submitted to your school's contact person or the RESA office by Friday, April 19, 2019. RESA is located next to Okefenokee Heritage Center at 1405 N. Augusta Avenue, Waycross, GA, 31503, (912) 285-6151.
Return April 29-May 1
Entries may be picked up from the OHC at the close of the event on April 27.
Entries submitted through the school will be returned the following week. Make sure it is labeled correctly with First & Last Name, Grade, and FULL school name.
Community submissions should be picked up by Tuesday, May 1, 2019 from the RESA office.
